Absence.

The absence of thy gentle voice,
The absence of thy loving smile,
Doth leave my lonely heart no choice,
But sorrow, grief, and bitter bile.
O, when wilt thou return to me?
And fill my heart with joy anew?
And set my captive spirit free,
And banish all this weary hue?
