Columbus

Behind him lay the great Atlantic sea,
Behind him lay the shadow of the world,
He turned his prow toward the mystery,
And watched the sails as onward they unfurled.
"Sail on!" he cried,"
"Sail on and on!"
And thus he found a world both new and grand,
A testament to courage, bravely won.
