Sonnet.

To be beloved is all I ask,
To be a sunbeam on thy brow,
To gild thy beauty, be thy mask,
To be thy slave as I am now.
To be thy love, thy life, thy all,
And in thy heart to be enshrined,
To hear thy gentle, loving call,
And in thy spirit be entwined.
