The Courtship of the Yonghy Bonghy Bò.

by Edward Lear · 1872 · Humor & Wit
A YARKUM
There was once a little boy,
Whose name was the Yonghy-Bonghy-Bo.
He lived on a rock,
And he loved a little girl,
And the girl she lived in a bottle,
And the bottle she lived in, was made of glass,
And the little girl was his only love,
And the bottle was his only home.
He sailed to the land of the Bong,
In a wonderful vessel of tin,
And he took with him a pig,
And a box full of sand.
And they went to the land of the Bong,
And they went to the land of the Bong,
And they went to the land of the Bong,
And they went to the land of the Bong.
And they lived there for a year and a day,
And they ate nothing but gingerbread,
And they drank nothing but tea.
And the Yonghy-Bonghy-Bo said, "I am the only one,
Who can make the world go round."
And the little girl said "You are the only one, Who can make the world go round."
And they lived happy ever afterwards,
And they lived happy ever afterwards,
And they lived happy ever afterwards,
And they lived happy ever afterwards.
