The Sea

The sea, the sea! the open sea!
The grey, the green, the rolling sea!
Oh, sea, where are the ships that be
Upon thy great immensity?
The ships that sailed so proud and free,
With all their sails unfurled to thee?
The ships that sailed so proud and free,
With all their sails unfurled to thee?
Where are they now? Oh, tell to me!
The sea, the sea, the open sea!
The grey, the green, the rolling sea!
