A Silent Prayer

By twilight's glow, or morning's light,
A silent prayer ascends on high,
For strength to face the coming night,
And grace to live, before we die.
A whispered hope, a heartfelt plea,
For guidance sure, and love's embrace,
To live in peace, content and free,
And find our solace in this place.
