A Dream of Home

A dream of home, a gentle sigh,
For hearth and kin, and all held dear,
Beneath a distant, foreign sky,
The heart holds memories, ever near.
Of laughter shared, and love so true,
Of cherished moments, past and gone,
A longing deep, forever new,
Until the light of home shall dawn.
