An Ode in the Manner of Anacreon.

O Love! thou art a tyrant, fierce and bold,
Who doth my heart and senses all enchain,
Thy power is great, thy story oft is told,
Yet still I yield, and willingly sustain
Thy sweet embrace, though tinged with bitter pain.
