Dungeon Ghyll

Dungeon Ghyll, a chasm deep,
Where waters downward flow,
And hidden secrets, it doth keep,
From all the world below.
The rocks are steep, the trees are high,
And darkness fills the air,
But still the waters onward fly,
With ceaseless, wild despair.
Yet in that gloom, a beauty lies,
A grandeur and a might,
That fills the soul with deep surprise,
And fills the heart with light.
