Elegy: Imitated from one of Akenside's Blank-verse Inscriptions. [(No.) III.]

by Sara Teasdale · 1794 · Loss & Grief

Did fill the world with beauty, love, and grace,
Now gone to rest, in everlasting light,
And left behind, no sorrow, and no trace.
