Lines: Composed while climbing the Left Ascent of Brockley Coomb, Somersetshire, May 1795.

Upward I climb, the steep ascent I trace,
The sun descends, the day begins to wane,
And as I rise, I find a peaceful place,
To rest my soul, and banish all my pain.
