The Evening Star

A single star, serene and bright,
Appears within the fading sky,
A beacon in the coming night,
As daybeams softly bid goodbye.
It guides the traveler on his way,
A tiny spark, with steady gleam,
And promises a brighter day,
Awakening from a fading dream.
