The Weary Traveler

The traveler weary, far from home,
Doth seek a rest, a place to stay,
Beneath the sky's vast, starry dome,
He longs for dawn, to guide his way.
His journey long, his path unknown,
He treads the dust with weary feet,
And prays for solace, not alone,
A haven from the burning heat.
