Twilight

The day is fading, soft and slow,
The western sky, a canvas grand,
With fiery hues, a vibrant glow,
As twilight settles on the land.
The stars appear, like diamonds bright,
In heavens vast, a wondrous sight,
And peace descends with gentle might,
To crown the day with softest night.
