Winter's Embrace

The snow descends, a silent fall,
And blankets earth in purest white,
A peaceful hush embraces all,
Beneath the moon's ethereal light.
The world lies still, in slumber deep,
A canvas pure, serene and vast,
While nature's promises to keep,
Until the winter's reign is past.
